So I want to by my first (maybe last) violin?

I want to try out a violin, i'm not going to rent one because i think it's a waste of money. I don't want to buy a super expensive one because i don't have much money, I don't know if i'll continue playing, and I have done fine with cheap instruments in the past. I want a violin between about $100-200 and yes i know that won't get me a brilliant instrument. cause it's cheap and the reviews aren't saying that it's made of plywood and has yarn for strings. If anyone has some other suggestions that would be great because i'm assuming musician's friend isn't the last word on violins. But, if your a wanna-be concert violinist that's going to tell me i need a master from the hills of Romania to set up my $5,000 dollar custom solid gold violin, i'm not in the mood.

RENT ONE! Your arms will grow, and the violin will be too small. Anyways, when you are starting it doesn't matter if it has a bad tone or not. It's not like the first week you play an instrument and you are on world tour with a symphony.
