Out of these, which violin is the better buy?
I play several woodwind instruments and I wanted to branch off, and learn something with strings. I'm on amazon.com now, I would like to buy a violin....seriously a cheepie..like $50-70
So I want to make sure my purchase is wise, and would like some input on what "brand" I should get. I know that the brand should not matter, however, some of the reviews are kind of sketchy so I ask, which should I get?
1. Cecilio
2. Austin Bazaar
3.Rugeri
4.Cremona
The reason I'm asking this is because I saw several reviews in which said that the "beginner" violins seem like cheaply made foreign lightweight crapshames so I want to make sure my money is spent well.
Spending anything under $100 on a violin is not money well spent. It will sound shocking, it will be impossible to get a good sound, no matter how much you practice or how good you are. Also, I would strongly recommend playing a violin before buying it. There could be cheap violins out there that sound decent. So yeah, in short, cheap online violin = firewood.
