I need a violin experts help?
I have been wanting to play the violin for a long time so I bought one online and it arrived today. I cheked if everything is in good shape and looke like it is. But the problem is no sound comes out when I try to play it....what could be the problem?
Im so lost since this is my first time having a violin so I will really appreciated any comments and or directions to any store that can help me. Thank You XD
Well first of all, i think it is awesome that you want to start playing the violin...and ummm, the exact same thing happened to me when i first got my first violin. haha i was just so worried like you! 
when i took it back to the music shop they fixed it right away by just getting some rosin and applying it...to help the process go faster they scratch the rosin with a key or something...and scratched it until it got all white and powdery then applied it, then repeat! and there you go! so just do the same thing.
