i have some violin questions?

how much does an average violin cost im not looking for the top of the top or anything just a violin in a good condition that can be played some years.
how hard is it to learn how to play a violin?
where do i get one?
and is there any special book that i could get that makes it easier to learn?

For your first couple of years of learning, as long as you have a violin that *works,* you won't really be able to make use of the difference between an intermediate and a fine violin. My advice is to get a cheaper ($100-500) one and spend your money on lessons, and then consider upgrading in a few years.

Another good company to try is Shar ( htttp://www.sharmusic.com ). I also like the method book Essential Elements 2000; it has a nice CD that you can play along with. ( http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/Essential-Elements-2000-for-Strings-Plus-DVD-Violin-Book-CD-and-DVD/4500962 )
