where can i get violin rosin?
im going to be getting a violin for my 14th birthday for the first time...and i just found out about violin rosin. can you get it at walmart? or anywhere like that? b-cuz theres no music stores anywhere close to me....oh and i have a couple other questions to ask too...im getting a violin that origianally retailed at 550 (i think) is that a pretty decent violin? and is 14 a good age to start...because i heard your suppose to start younge....
and how long does the rosin last?
Rosin only costs a couple of dollars, but you can find more expensive rosin. You can't find it at walmart, but it will last quite a while, so order some when you order your violin, it should last for at least a month. It's hard to tell without seeing it, but I expect you'll get a decent, at least playable violin. I didn't start til I was 16, a lthough i played other instruments. I think you'll do fine. good luck with your playing!
