What Kind of Violin Strings should I buy?

I play a full size violin at an intermediate/advanced level, just started to work on Bruch's Violin Concerto no.1.

wow, what a coincidence! i just finished the concerto i absolutely love it

a gold e string is apparently for 'solos', for sweeter sound. i had an Obligato gold E it was really expensive, and i dropped my violin and it snapped x(

i don't reccomend a gold E string. They're expensive, and not that great. but your violin is not mine, so maybe it will benefit you

the type of strings depend on your violin, i recommend trying other sets. eva parrazzi ( something like that i can't remember now?) by pirastro is the most expensive i think. they may suit your violin. i use obligato A,D,G and a dominant E. that's what my teacher recommended

ask your teacher, he/she might know
