Years John Juzek violinmaker from Prague lived?
Hi lived in the mid 1800 or a little later. His sons started the Metropolitan Musim of Music in New York, I can no longer read the handwriten date inside the violin, as a child I could read it mid to late 1940.
It says here that "John Juzek was a good maker making instruments in many different grades and finishes. The earliest violin we have seen personally was dated 1901 in Prague".

Maestronet forum, however, suggests that there are no solid proofs that a John Juzek existed as a violin maker, and that the instruments with this name actually came from a workshop, not an individual:
