Stainer Violin?
It was originally apprised to be from the 1890's, but on the inside it says
"Jacobus Stainer in Absam
prope Oenipontum fecit 1663"
Which, according to wikipedia means "Jacob Stainer in Absam; made near Oenipontus" (Latin name for Innsbruck)."
Does anyone know anything else about this type of violin as well as if it's a copy and what year approxamately it was made in.
