help with an electric guitar problem?
My brand new electric guitar works perfectly fine except all the notes i play on the first fret sound muted. i think i need to raise the strings up or something but this is my first electric guitar and i dont want to fiddle with it too much without knowing what im doing. Its a gibson if that helps any
If you're new to playing and have a nice guitar like that, take it in for a professional setup. I have bought Custom Shop guitars that didn't come setup properly. I have setup some of my own guitars but really prefer to have a pro do that for me.
