A medium grade rosin for violin?
I don't know anything about rosin but I heard 'the darker the better'. Darker? Is this mean the colour of the rosin? I use a medium grade rosin. Special formula that eliminates most of the allergens normally found in most rosins. Bow I use is a German made Brazilwood bow.
Yes, the phrase "the darker the better" is referring to the color of the rosin. But I don't find that true for me anyway. I use a Goldflex rosin and it works fine. It's a nice light gold color and I love it =]
