Does anyone know about Berkeley Violins, and where they may originate?

I honestly believe that Berkeley Instruments, in Berkeley, CA is where the instrument originates.They make a variety of Stings, woodwind and Brass instruments for Beginner and intermediate players.

Mind you though, there is also an RS Berkeley in New Jersey who also manufactures & sells a variety of instruments for the Student, all the way up to the professional musican.

I bought my son a 3/4 Berkeley Violin last year from E-bay and we are extremely pleased with its quality and sound....well, for a beginners instument.
