What is the best violin brand for a beginner?
What should I look for when purchasing a violin?
if your just learning don't go for a top quality because you could quit and then you just wasted money. I play the viola but its pretty much the same when trying to figure out the instrument that's best for you. Don't really look by brand. Go to a music store tell them that your wanting to get a violin and it would be your first and that you want to try all the violins that they have. It will give you a chance to see whats best for you.
Be careful when buying I know Chicago music store will over price and you can get a cheaper brice (usually)
Also be aware of what you want and trust your self and dont buy one because the people are like this is the top violin, best this and that. If you dont want it then dont take it
